Couric strikes me as a bad fit, but oh well, it'll only be a week.

I like Ken Jennings because he doesn't have a professional tv voice, I think that's part of what we liked about Trebek he didn't sound like another game show host.(although I wouldn't doubt he took voice somewhere along the line)

Tough job to cast for, someone needs to be genuinely nerdy without being, you know, too nerdy. smart, and firm enough to enforce the rules but with kid gloves.
